Intelligence built
for traders

AlfaBrief is an automated crypto intelligence service. It monitors major news sources and live market data continuously, filters for what affects trader positioning, and publishes concise briefs at 08:00 UTC every morning — plus immediate alerts when markets require it.

Editorial principles

Signal over noise

The majority of crypto news has no bearing on trader positioning. AlfaBrief publishes only what materially affects open positions — price recaps, opinion pieces, and press releases are not published.

Actionable by design

Every story follows a structured format that ends with a specific level to watch or a signal that invalidates the thesis. A brief that does not tell a trader what to do with the information is not useful.

Speed where it matters

The pipeline runs continuously. When a liquidation cascade triggers or a regulatory ruling drops, the alert publishes within minutes — not in the next morning's digest.

Transparent sourcing

Every story carries the name of the publication or data source it was derived from. AlfaBrief does not obscure where information originates.

How the pipeline works

01

Monitor

Seven sources checked every five minutes — RSS feeds from CoinDesk, Decrypt, Blockworks, The Defiant, and Wu Blockchain, plus live WebSocket liquidation streams from Binance.

02

Filter

Claude Haiku scores each incoming story on a 0–1 scale for market impact. Stories below the threshold are discarded before any further processing. Regulatory actions, liquidation events, and whale movements receive automatic priority passes.

03

Deduplicate

A seven-day deduplication window prevents the same event from being processed or published twice, regardless of how many sources cover it.

04

Rank

Surviving stories are ranked by a composite score: recency, magnitude in USD, token significance, source consensus, and category weighting. The top stories are selected for each digest.

05

Rewrite

Claude rewrites each story in professional trader language following a fixed structure: thesis, context, data, implication with a time horizon, what kills the thesis, and a specific level or event to watch.

06

Publish

The daily digest publishes at 08:00 UTC. Urgent alerts — liquidation cascades above $100M or major regulatory breaks — fire immediately and bypass the scheduled digest.
